Embark on a legendary expedition to the majestic natural atoll of Banco Chinchorro, located approximately 40 km east of Mahahual (a scenic 1 hour and 15-minute boat ride). Designated as a protected natural reserve, this massive coral reef ecosystem spans over 40 km and serves as an authentic underwater museum. For centuries—dating back to the Spanish conquest and continuing into modern times—these waters have witnessed historic shipwrecks, leaving behind scattered cannons, anchors, and artifacts alongside an immense explosion of marine biodiversity that captivates divers and snorkelers worldwide.
Departing from Mahahual, our full-day excursion provides comfortable, secure vessels, all mandatory permits, safety insurance, and certified guides required to operate inside the protected natural reserve. Due to the distance and depth of the experience, the tour requires a full-day commitment of approximately 9 hours.

- Snorkeling Package ($2,500 MXN): Includes round-trip transport, snorkeling across 2 to 3 different spots, complete snorkeling gear, local guide, lunch, snacks, and refreshments.
